ABOUT COULOIR VENTURES
Couloir Ventures, Inc. and its FrontDoor Communities brand were founded in 2019 for the sole purpose of developing and managing build-for-rent (BFR) communities in the high barrier to entry Washington-Baltimore metro area.
Couloir’s founder, Karen McJunkin, has 35 years of experience acquiring, entitling, and developing residential, mixed-use, and multi-family projects in suburban Maryland as a Regional Partner with Elm Street Development.
The industry and market knowledge gained through this experience enables Couloir to identify sub-markets in the DC metro area with positive BFR metrics and source deals in those areas.
